View Full Version : Nero + DVD+R = Problem. HELP!

I used Nero 6 to make data content DVD. Used DVD+R (imation 2.4x, memorex 4x), Khypermedia rebagged cyberdrive DX082D.

DVD+R burned with no problem, but after burning, Win XP won't read it. Nero can see the session and track on the DVD+R, but XP keep giving me "not accessable, incorrect function" error message. Then I tried to do this on DVD+RW, and everything went well, XP reads the burned DVD+RW without problem.

Being desperate, I used the image burner in Nero to burn the content to a .nrg image file, and used dvdDecrypter to burn the image to DVD+R. Again, it burned well but XP refuse to read the burned DVD+R.

The question: Why I am having this problem with Nero/DVD+R combination? I have wasted 6 DVD+R discs tonight, and still have no clue. HELP!

try multi-session first, and it didn't work. Then I chose to close the disc, but it didn't work either.

I am thinking about switching to alcahol 120%. Can I install both Nero and Alcahol 120% on one computer? will they cause any driver incompatibility?

No problem,
You can install both Nero and Alcahol 120% on your computer.
I do the same thing.
But You will find that Nero is better for use.
Or You can try other software,like Ha!cd burner......etc.
