Hi,

I have following pal project:
Dif4u 1.4.6/scenaid

1 VTS, 5 PGC's
PGC 3-5 are encoded stills, which are flagged no-cce.

When i import the scenaid script into scenarist, everything goes fine.
but when i start compiling the dvd, i got following scenarist error:

Error Still MPEG Video file is larger than Video buffer in DVD Spec("VTS__01_P03-no-cce.P.4~3_1.m2v" has 871553 bytes).
Error Please reduce the bitrate in ProjectSettings or make the source still image simpler.
Error dvd_mux : DoMux Multiplexing Error
Error Terminated Multiplexing (sc.scn-VTS01P03-no-cce_t.vob).
Error Total bitrate is too HIGH. Please reduce the stream bitrate or the number of stream.
Error Multiplex is failed.
Info Multiplexing failed, Track<VTS01P03-no-cce>

I found one thread mentionning this error, but there was no reply. I can send the logfiles on request.

Anyone an idea what it might cause?

Scenarist is not happy if bitrate of video is high then 8712.

I've not come accross this in a long time, but occasionally some still images will appear to have a bitrate of say 20000, way more than a DVD format allows (9800 max including video and all audio) dunno why this happens.

Manually re-encode the still in cce to something around 3k, single pass, will take a split second.

Then import the script back into scenarist, should solve that error. Make sure you keep the same file names or import the new assest into scenarist manually.

I've had to do this before, think this is what I did.
