S-VHS to DVD

Slap me silly with a wet fish but:-

I'm playing with getting my old recordings that I'd previously recorded via DSat onto S-VHS (so noise wise they're reasonable clean) onto DVD via my Xmas pressie burner.

And I wondered if some kind person could give me an easy jump-start script that they swear by for this kind of work :)

(Or maybe Sh0dan/neuron2 will give me a strike for disobeying rules 1, 1a and 12 :p )

I was planning on recording them onto DVD as half-D1 (352x576) to maximise number of episodes but willing to take expert advice :)

You'll quickly see how to convert the scripts to PAL.

FWIW, I use Canopus ProCoder for all interlaced work. The quality in a small space is worth the wait.
