OK, im having a major burning problem.I start to burn my dvd iso image with dvd decypter and about 5-10 mins in to the burn at X2 the buffer on the bottom left drops down to 0% and then the device buffer drops.
Ive wasted 3 dvdrs so for , but now im testing with a rewriterable.Ive also tryed with record now max and the same thing, it says its gonna take 20mins then about 5-10 mins in to the burn it says 50mins, so as it does'nt so a buffer im guessing its a buffer again.

Now i burn a game about 2-3 days ago and backed up some files to dvd and it burnt fine with record now max then. All ive installed since is mozilla firefox and UT2K4, now ive uninstall firefox and i still get the problem, i cant really see it being 2K4 as the demo worked fine.I was wondering if theres a problem with the latest dvd decypter 3.2.1.0 ?, as i think i installed that yesterday or the day before.

Ive also run a virus scan on C:\ but that was fine.

Nope, no problem that I know of.

If the buffer drops, it means your hdd wont supply enough data.

It shouldnt break the dvd though, BURNProof will just kick in.

Have you checked the disc for errors? Run a full surface scan on it.

I just burnt with nero and that worked fine, buffer never dropped.Ive also burnt images from that hdd before and have'nt had a problem.

Update :

OK, the buffer in the bottom left dropped down to 0% and never came backup even with Burnproof on, so as a test i uninstalled dvd decrypter 3.2.1.0 which was gettingthe 0% buffer, i then run regedit and cleared any files left over after uninstalling dvd decrypter.I just install dvd decrypter 3.1.9.0 and tryed to burn again and it worked perfect, the buffer stayed at 100% all the way through. So the problem i was havinf seems to be version 3.2.1.0.
