Hello guys!
I am trying to deal with a problem as follows:
there's a video recording I have on VHS which has a very low audio volume. I can hear the sound pretty well on 60-70% of max volume cranked up at my tv set, but I would like to create a dvd version with a normal level of audio volume.
I have a standalone dvd recorder which writes straight into dvd format onto the disc. so I would like to remake the audio from that dvd to make volume higher and eliminate hiss/noise which will be present when simply making the volume higher. then I would like to reencode "loud" sound back to the video.
another option for me is to make the sound cable pass through computer and make some realtime filtering on-the-air so the video cable goes straight from one vcr to another one and audio cable first goes into computer for filtering and then back to the 2nd vcr so the 2nd vcr is getting improved audio. any ideas if that may be realistic to do and which program I may use for that?
Any ideas what can I do and which programs to use?
Rgds. Mike
