Hi,
I have a teletubbies DVD that my little daughter loves. However they stick "real life" bits through out it that she does not! So basically what I want to do it reproduce the DVD with these bits chopped out.

Unfortunately for me, it has ac3 audio, and I seem to be unable to work out what software will demux it properly, and what software I can then edit it with.

I have tried ripping it to HD with DVD decrypter then Vobedit to try and demux it but it does not seem able to do the job correctly (the editors I use inform me the produced mpv file is crook), I have tried virtual Dub Mod, but the AC3 sound does not seem to work.

Anyone point me in the right direction to what software will do this for me?

Don't try to demux.

Open ifoedit and create new ifo set from the vob files from the original dvd. U ll miss any menu but u will retain the chapters and subs.

Another alternative is to download dvdlab. It has a demo that can do the re-authoring witbout demuxing at all. Who knows, u might like the product and buy it for real.

Don't think something fancy. Afterall u just need audio, video and subs. Isn't it?
