Weird error when clicking on Encode

Hi all!

Im getting an weird error when I have changed all the settings in Cce (multipass,bitrate,) and when I click on Encode I get this message:

cant find appopriate video codec for "VIFP"
and:
vinfo_open() failed, ***Could not open (C:/"the folder I got it all in/ .vaf " )***

I got Cce 2.62

Anyone know whats wrong?

looks like you deleted your .vaf after your initial single pass vbr. that file contains all of the information about quantization matrices for your source frames. if you delete that file, cce doesn't know how to allocate bits to the stream. run your single pass vbr again to re-create the file, then run your multipass.

The problem is that I cant do any multipass or single pass vbr.
Thats the problem,it hasnt made any .vaf so I cant delete it.

Any other ideas?

Where does that codec come from? Cce?

Looks like the codec for this type of AVI isn't installed.
