I know this is most likely the wrong forum, but I couldnīt find a better one and also all the Real nerds are here, maybe one of them can help me. I searched if there is a forum on the Helix site, but there doesnīt seem to be one, the new site is even worse than the old, you donīt find anything (I wasnīt even able to find Producer documentation!).
I tried to setup the Helix server for win32, I installed it without any problems. I can also acceess the admin control with my browser. I set the moint point "/media/" to a directory with some mp4 and rmvb files in it, and thought it should work now. But Real-Player shows this error message by accessing to rtsp://localhost/media/test.rmvb
This server is not configured to play the data type you requested. Please contact the Real Server Administrator for assistance. When I try to access a not-existing file on my server Iīll get a geral error, so the url is correct. I also tried to access the mp4 file with quicktime, but it gets disconnected from the server.
I donīt know what I do wrong or what I could change in the configuration, can anybody help me or point me to a good, up-to-date and easy guide?

Hi, I am afraid I don't know the answer to your server question, but let me try to point you to the right place on helixcommunity. Yes, it is hard to navigate, and there is a forum where general site questions can be discussed. This is here: https://helixcommunity.org/forum/forum.php?forum_id=23. I took the liberty of including a short quote from your previous post to illustrate my post about ease of site navigation.
To find Producer documentation, you have to go back to the front page (https://helixcommunity.org/), after logging in. Then click on the Helix DNA Producer (https://helix-producer.helixcommunity.org/) link. This is the right page to start on for Producer questions, but don't be fooled by the "Documents" links on this page. It is empty. So then you have to go to the Producer SDK page (https://producersdk.helixcommunity.org/). Again, the right hand "Documents" link is empty. However, there is a link to the Producer documentation (https://producersdk.helixcommunity.org/docs) in the text section on the left side.
The front page also has a link to the Helix DNA Server (https://helix-server.helixcommunity.org/). It has a link to Forums, but no forums are active yet, for the server. However, they have mailing lists you can try, if the server documentation, available from the same page does not help you.
Cheers, Karl.

Thanks for the answers, I looked at the logs and the error in the logs are:18-Mrz-2004 15:24:03.519 tmplgpln(1708): No handler for rmvb
Same for mp4. So I tried with mp3, and it worked. A Real Server that cannot stream RealMedia? Yes!! The Basic version seem to be completly open-source, because the RealMedia Handler is not open-source it is not included. Now I installed Helix Server Plus, which also contains binary-only parts and it can also stream RealMedia perfect. But mp4 still doesnīt work: No handler for mp4 :(
So 2 questions are still there:
1.) The Plus-Server has some kind of licence file, what am I allowed with this server and what not? Am I allowed to use this Server on a non-commercial public website (a school homepage)?
2.) Can I download a mp4-handler for the server somewhere or is it comeing with mp4 support in Real Player 10, or isnīt that free at all?
