Basically I want to demux AC3 sound from a VOB file (which is OK there are loads of ways to extract one) then I want to edit the ac3 sound (I know how to convert to wav and edit that but is there a way of editing an ac3 straight off?) and finally I want to remux it back with the demuxed m2V file and re constitute the vob file.

I have looked into various ways including trying to convert wav to ac3 using BeSweet (but I haven't fathomed how to do this - it seems to crash when I try) Other converters seem to cost money and so I'm not keen.

I still haven't thought of an easy way to remux m2v and ac3 assuming I can convert wav to ac3.

I hope you get the gist of my problem, I am pretty confused myself. If anyone can give me some pointers I would be grateful.
Thanks.

hy videak!

don't know (maybe no) if have a way to edit ac3!

if you convert the ac3 to wave,i have little hint:

get the wave and do what you need(equalize, normalize, don't matter)

to convert your wave to ac3 again use ffmpegGUI, free prog, take a look:
encode to ac3-2channels only, not for ac3-5.1!

and for remux the "new" ac3 with the m2v, use tmpgenc-dvd author!
very simple to use!

i will that it can help!
