Worst film ever! Show and tell

Well, of corse this is only me opinion , but The worst film i have ever seen is called "flossin'" (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0219687/) Damn! worst acting ,story and camera pans ever! I will keep it though now that i have brought it lol, but just to remind me not to buy another film like tihs lol! any one seem this film? What is the worst film you have ever seen?

Gee no one mentioned the official worst movie of all time. Plan 9 From Outer Space. Granted since then much worse crap could have been made. So perhaps it is time for a recount.

One of the worst movies I have seen recently is "Dark Angel". It has nothing to do with the TV series. Had Jesica Alba been in it; well it would have been much better to watch. No this is the movie with Dolph Lundgren where he plays a cop invesigating strange murders. There is this stupid looking alien drug dealer come to earth. He has this gauntlet thingy with a toilet snake that pops out of the wrist area. He then lodges this in his victims forehead, injects them with heroin, exsanguinates them, and filters the endorphins from their blood. Because it is the "Ultimate" drug. :p And if that was not bad enough the only thing the alien ever says is "I come in peace". He usually says that right before he kills someone. Oh and the "Space Gun". :rolleyes:

But for more mainstream movies I thought Verhoeven's Starship Troopers or Hollow Man were extremely poor. The Invisible Man is such a cool idea and with modern effects how did he make it suck so badly?

@BB, surely even a heavily censored Zombie 1 (Dawn of the Dead) is preferable to many other movies although it could be painful to watch! Btw, the French DVD of this is very nice :) I think it's the Argento edit of the movie.

hmm. worst movie ever? i don't think i could pin it down exactly as i tend to have a fair idea whether a movie is going to be poor, and as such i don't see too many of them.


ones that spring to mind:

- biker boys. gee, what a new and original spin - fast and furious on bikes. and morpheus looked like somebody's sad old uncle in this movie.

- Star Wars - the phantom menace. do we need any more proof that mad cow disease has made it to america and has claimed at least 1 victim?

- V. this was a space horror movie. all i could think while watching it was "does paramount know you've stolen half their star trek memorabilia and put stripes on it?"

- Titanic. very poor. i was moved, but only to laughter, which wasn't cameron's intention i'm sure. the only bit i enjoyed was when that guy fell off the back of the ship onto the propellor (yes, i know. i need help :P) you'd think with a movie that long that statistically at least there's bound to be something worth watching.

I tend to like "bad" movies, just because they're bad. Some of my all-time favorites are widely considered to be extremely bad movies. For example, the first DVD I ever bought was "Showgirls." A gaudy, trashy, shameless, sensational movie with no redeeming social value at all. (Of course, I love every moment of it!)

In the same genre, some other bad classics that come to mind are "Striptease" and "Barbarella."

A vote for The watcher (2000); while there are far worse movies, I can't believe Reeves made this after The Matrix (1999). Bad directing, bad script, very cliched and boring. Oh, and Rob Zombie's Dragula in the soundtrack? :sly:

The FSK 16 version I accidentally picked up here in Germany is easy to describe: Take out every blood scene from the original, and you end up with a totally crippled, senseless film, just awfully boring - a real headache. Then you remember what a cult it was to see the uncensored film on video at the age of fifteen...

Fortunately I could get a copy of the original on DVD in the meantime ;)
Nowadays it's not the horror that makes me like the film, it's the souvenir of the good old times when I watched this kind of "forbidden" films together with the old friends.

I have a few “bad” movies also ,as souvenirs really. From the time that me and my mates used to watch them, a good “bad” movie that will make you laugh is a film called Breakin (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0086998/ ). We laughed the whole way through, that turbo guy cracks me up :) . So in a way I think there is a light at the end of the tunnel for really bad movies.
I will watch that movie time and time again :p

Oooooooooo! So sorry. Thanks for playing. But it was "Army of Darkness". And I love Army of Darkness and Evil Dead. I have all three on DVD. But they are cult classics. Often reffered to by the masses as god awful movies. I also have Return of the Killer Tomatoes on DVD as well as a few other oddities. It had George Clooney in it for crying out loud. :p

There are three Evil Dead movies, where Army Of The Darkness is the third installment. They never should have let Sam Raimi embarrass himself (even more than he already has) with that god-awful Spiderman movie.

It's extremely amusing because a skeleton said that, most likely suggesting something sexual -- now what is a skeleton going to do with a girl? Bone her?

Speaking of Spiderman, the recent Marvel movies are all way more terrible than mere words can describe. But on the other hand, so are the comics...

A movie called "Crash" was so mindachingly bad that I sincerely hope that everyone involved in it's production would be shot.

I also despise multimillion dollar Hollywood movies which turn out to be totally useless, empty, meaningless and messageless bubblegum products (such as Armageddon and ID4 mentioned here). Not all of them do, but a vast majority does. That money would be much better spent on building homes for the homeless or feeding the starving.

Do you people know how I manage to quickly check whether a movie is challenging or not, just by browsing IMDB?
Presenting the duartix's 3 easy steps solution:
1. Search IMDB for the movie title.
2. After User rating click the stars (*******) graph.
3. Do the following calculation: r = ( Non-US users - US users )

r > 0.7 - a must see.
0.7 > r > 0.2 - definetely worth watching.
0 > r > 0.2 - check user comments.
r < 0 - triple check user comments if you really really want to see it.
r < -0.2 - run away! Run away !

Well, I can tell you this method has been in use for 3+ years and has worked for me 9 out of 10 times... :D

Army of Darkness is such a fun movie and is one of my favorite movies of all times. Creating such a great movie with so little money is a great archievement. Same goes for the other Evil Dead movies. They are good example how hilarious puppets/stopmotion can be compared to nowadays dull CGI graphics.

Spiderman isn't that bad, but it ain't great either. And i actually liked X-men 2, nothing wrong with that movie imo.

If you want to see horrible go see Ticker http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0196158/ It is the worst Steven Seagal movie to date which is really saying something. The acting is horrible, the editing is a joke (when they stop "driving" the background just freezes), and the fight scenes are the worst ever. Seagal was completely out of shape in this movie so the fight scenes consisted of the camera shaking a ton, followed by a shadowy cut to Seagal's face or hands, and then a generic bad guy flying away or falling down. Also notable is Dennis Hopper's weak attempt at an Irish accent which totally flops. If you want to see horrible movies in their highest form, look no further than this movie.

well, there was lots of them, but maybe triple-x wins the crown for me, that 'movie' is a lot of nothing happening very fast for like 2 hours, i was amazed by the amount of bs that was possible to fit into one single film really. (the only reason i wathed it to the end is that feeling when you cant really belive this is for 'real'..)

ok, another winner would be al-pacino in insomnia..., must be the most boring movie ever (which is the opposite of the title really..).

'Meet prince charming'

I watched this yesterday when it came out on finnish tv. Acting was horrible, plot was something that has been made so many times before and always better. There was no chemistry between the actors and god I hated this movie!

I guess something tells also the facts that:

1. the director of this movie never did anything after this movie.
2. Man who played the main role never acted in movies or tv after this
3. Woman (Tia Carrere) hasn't played in movies after this (except voice-acting in Lilo & Stich)

So I guess the producers were pretty pissed off too :)

I don't think any of you have seen "Journey to the Center of Time". If you haven't and want something to torture your kids when they misbehave, or when you feel like you've sinned and need to hurt yourself, watch this. You can find it in any Wal-Mart DVD bin for like $1-2.

This is a movie that Mystery Science Theatre 3000 would reject simply on the basis that it's too retarded. This is a movie where you expect dubbed over voices for hilarity, but instead it's real voices of the actors and they are tyring to be serious.
