Hi
In some movies you can choose between AC3 5.1 and DTS 5.1 - usualy DTS takes more space, but is the diffrence worth the extra bytes? ... What do you prefer?...

I would like to add one more comment on that thread (if that's OK, and your post does not mean "thread closed" :)).
From my expirience, there is a big difference between "ordinary" movie DVDs and concert DVDs, when DTSvsDD is concerned. On movie DVD, difference is hard to notice even on x000 $ setup (I'm not talking about volume, but sound clarity and quality). Ofcourse, YMMV because sound, like the video, can have it's "compressability factor". On the other hand, DTS's high bitrate shows it's full strength on concert or music DVD's, where all channels are "pumped" all the time. In this case DD lose IMO. Once again, YMMV depending how well mastering was performed.
Just my 2 lp's ("lipa", 1/100 of "kuna" - Croatian money ;))
