Is this the soft for my problem?

Hi all,
I receive some clips on DVD (3 to 5min) from independent bands. I need to capture, compress and then author.

A lot of these DVD's have only 1 music clip without menus, so the player symbol for PLAY is on top of the image for the first 2 to 5 sec.

I would lite to capture from the VOB file to separate files to use on Scenarist.
It can be an *.m2v + *.wav or *.ac3.

Can I do this with DVD2AVI?
What kind of audio is exported?

If not, what soft do you recommend.

No, this is not a task for DVD2AVI. You should look at DVDdecrypter or VOBedit for this kind of task. DVD decrypter should be able to separate the streams you need from the original DVD's into something that Scenarist will accept. What audio you'll get depends on what is on the original DVD. (This is true for DVD2AVI too :rolleyes: )
