It is the same format. You can solve this so:

Start TMPGEnc DVDAuthor.
Start a new project.
Add Your movie (16:9).
On the left side You can add a new title.
Add the 4:3 movie to the new title.
Create Your menu.
Author the DVD.
Burn the DVD.

Hope this helps You.

Hi
Thanx for the response
Tried that, unfortunat;y the 16:9 section fills the wide-
screen whereas the 4:3 format with the widescreen version
in it leaves a black section top and bottom

I need aprog thar accepts the vob file in 4:3 and encoed out at
16:9 - I can seperate the audio and remux it after screen encoding

I just am not aware if there is a program that does this conversion

regards:confused:

K, You have a 4:3 with borders. So the original source was 16:9. You must crop the borders. You can do this with AVISynth and resizing filters.

HMM, maybe I add this feature to the next version of DRPEnc.

Hi my friend. I did it!!!

I found a way how to get a 16:9 AS out of 4:3.
I'll add this to DRPEnc 0.2.0.5
The new version is now online.
Have fun.
