burning i've had enough

OK

I've had enough of this now i spend a lot of time encoding and authoring and creating a better sound quality which as you are all aware takes some time.

However every time i burn to disc (nero 6) the disc either jumps or doesn't even play at all??!?!?!?! :(

Can anyone suggest where i might be going wrong???

I use:

ASUS 0402P DVD-RW
Bulk Paq Orange 4x speed DVD-R discs
Nero 6

try some different media, or try a different standalone dvd player.

I buy Verbatim disks they seem to work well. The Bulkpaq dont seem to work that well with my drive i get coasters occasionally

what speed are u burning at. if 4X try 2X and see if that helps

have u updated the firmware on your DVD writer as when i updated my plextor firmware from 1.02 to 1.06 it now burns 4X media at 8X and it works better with media overall.

I've been using Nero 6 Ultra BUT!!! Is it any Good
Ive been losing 3 in 10 BUT out of these three 2
play on a friends machine

So I now use Record Now Max
RECORD DVDS WITH RECORD NOW MAX
VIDEO_TS FOLDER

1 INSERT BLANK DVD
2 CLOSE WIZARD
3 TOP MENU : FILE: NEW JOB : DATA DISK
4 ENSURE DVD WRITER SELECTED
5 TOP MENU: EDIT : ADD FILES AND FOLDERS
6 BROWSE TO LOCATION VIDEO_TS (INSTALL AUDIO_TS)
7 TOP MENU : EDIT : RECORD OPTIONS : DVD AREA : TAO CLOSED
FILE SYSTEM TYPE TO : UDF UPTO 128
8 UPPER RIGHT AREA : NUMBER OF COPIES : RECORD SPEED :
MULTISESSION LEFT AT DEFAULT : ENTER VOLUME LABEL
9 FINALLY : TOP MENU : FILE : RECORD

Admittedly I have only done 5 BUT they all are working!!!

Suggest you give it a try
