Good day,
Can anyone help me understand what this error message means? This is happening with a disc authored and burned with TDA when I attempt to play it in my Sony DVD-ROM.
I've googled on it, but all I've found are sites with "lists" of error messages, including this one, but no explanation as to what the cause might be.
In addition, when I try and play this particular disc in my standalone players (Panasonic RV-31 and a Sharp portable), the players lock-up when I access certain menu items (not all, just some) and there is quite a bit of macroblocking in some of the video. Is this indicative of a media problem or a problem in the authoring? The authored files play fine off my HDD with PowerDVD.
I've tried burning with Copy2DVD and TDA's burner... both with similar results (although it's the TDA-burned disc which is giving the error message).
Other info: The total project is 4318 MB's burned to a Ritek G04 DVD-R. I set up 5 tracks in TDA with a main menu and 5 sub-menus that link to music videos.
