Hi there! I have succesfully encode a DVD into SVCD using TMPGEnc, it is a very nice quality, the only thing that bother me are the margins. The final mpeg file is displayed in full screen and not as the original DVD (Widescreen) with two margins up and down.
Can somebody tell me how to keep the original margins when I encode the film with TMPGEnc.?
Thanks!

Try changing Video Arrange Method in Settings - Advanced. Probably, you would have to change it to Full Screen (Keep Aspect Ratio). As far as I remember, No Margin option performs pan&scan, and Full Screen option stretches widescreen image vertically.

Thanks for that one Dimmer! In fact, "Full screen (Keep Aspect Ratio)" was the best solution, It must be together with "16:9 Display" setting, of course in my case.
Thank for the advice!
