Hi!

My problem is, that I have a Sony DRU 500-writer. I wrote a film (Pirates of the Caribbean - not my Rip), and it doesn't plaies on DVD player, but I can play on my computer. I've tried a couple of disks (Princo, Traxdata, Fortris, Ritek,...), but it didn't work! Some players play the disk (for examlpe Philips,...) but on Panasonic...
I've tried to region free the disk, but it didn't have any effect. Than I got the film from my of my friend, a burned it out, and it worked. Do You have any idea, what should do with the rest of my films? What should I do, when I burn out it will go on "any" players?

Wel it all depends on the dvd player you have got. Not all dvd players will play dvd-r or dvd+r, some will play one of them some will play both.

Search for info on you player www.dvdhelp.com should be good for you. Just sounds to me like your player wont play them and your friends will!

Kukker.this website has lots of guides on how to properly backup a movie DVD. You need to spend the time reading those guides and then if you have questions about one of the methods someone can help you.
Also, we only condone/talk about making backups of movies you already own. Getting a copy from your friend doesn't really qualify unless you already own the original which you should be able to use yourself to make a backup copy.

To see the guides go to the main site www.doom9.org and look on the left column, there are links to the guides.
