No Sound

I'm using the wayjet WT951TF capture card. When I reord with the (retarded) PCTV-FM application witch comes with it everything is fine.
But the stupid thing doesn't split AVIs larger than 4GB so there's not much to capture.

When I try using Vdub, Avi_Io or NEthing else I get a picture, but I get no sound.

I've tryed the BT787 generic drivers, again with no sucess.
PLS help 'cause I'd really hate to upgrade to XP.

Welcome to Doom9's forum, DaBash.

"No sound" could be any of several things. The most common two I can think of are forgetting to wire sound through the soundcard, and soundcard mixing. I'm betting its not the former, since you've had sound working before.

Be sure your soundcard mixer is set to record "line in" rather than "microphone."

Checked, double checked & checked again but again no sound in vdub or avi_io...Guess I'll just have to update to XP to avoid the 4GB limit.
Oh, well...
