I re-encoded shawshank redemption to svcd using dvd2svcd. But when I play the svcd in my dvd-player, the sound gets behind after a while. The sound gets more delayed the longer I play the movie. If I jump directly to position 30:00 (30 mins), the sound is as delayed at that position as it would be if I watched the movie from the beginning. When I run the cd in my computer with powerDVD, the sound DOESN'T get delayed. This hasn't happened to any other of my svcds (have reencoded 6 or so the same way). Does anyone have an idea of what the problem could be?

mJohnsson,

The only problem I can see is during the bbmpeg's multiplexing between the video stream mp2v and the audio stream mp2. If you select not to deleted anything, you still have these 2 streams in the working folder.

If you do, then rerun bbmpeg manually and speed up whatever second you the audio were delayed. If you don't have the 2 streams, then you have to demultiplex it, and run bbmpeg manually as explained above.

Cheers,
