Hi

I'm using avi-mux 1.16.3. After muxing a divx5 file (that was compressed with g-knot) with a AC3 file from the same source, the resulting file is locked and I can't rename or move it.

When tring to modify the muxed file, the PC says it's being used by another prog or person and cannot the complete action.

I have no idea why this happens, I've even tried booting in safe mode in XP and deleting the file, but noithing.

I'm getting the AC3 file from dvd2avi and video is encoding in the lastest divx5

Any thoughts?

G

Edit, I've tried defraging and rebooting a couple of time but the dam AVI file is stuck, I can't move or delete it. Can someone help me please.

Yer, XP + SP1A. I haven't heard about that weird bug. I can delete other AVI files, for example when I 'just mux' the AC3 on a Divx encode.

It's just the AVIMUX file, dam this is driving me nuts.

Have you got a link on that XP bug?
