I ripped the an NTSC DVD in Dif4u with the telecine option checked. This resulted in an avs video with 23.9xx frame rate. Well after encoding the videos using DoCCE and trying to import the resulting mpv and other files into scenarist, Scenarist is saying that the frame rates doesn't match.

This is true of course 'cause I use the telecine option in Dif4u. Is there a way to correctly imported the mpvs even with the mismatching frame rate? Maybe I need to edit a config file.

Thanks for the replies.

you need to run pulldown against the mpv either manually or let dc4u do it.

just a clarification

---------

Do you mean that in my AVS script, I only should have "fielddeinterlace" (no telecide or decimate) and then run 2:3 pulldown from docce or from the pulldown command in dif4u?

fielddeinterlace outputs 29fps, i.e., you don't do pulldown on that.
