do you have to burn svcds before you can watch them or is there a way to mount them and just watch the svcd? i've tried mounting on a couple of different softwares and i can't watch the mpeg for some reason, btw in my computer it lists the size of the disk as 600kb

Use Daemon tools, you can mount and play the disc images created by DVD2SVCD no problems.

daemon tools will mount a cd-image as if it were a normal cd in windows. from there, you'll have to use the appropriate player.
your question was if there's a way to watch without burn. daemon-tools simulate burning by mounting the image. that's all.

Then use IsoBuster to extract the mpeg from the bin/cue, Tnen open the result mpeg in your video program.

simply drag the ISO to media player classic
that lpayer rules too much
i once dragged to MPC a TAR file with directories including rar files that included 2 MPG's and it played it, and im not kidding

I use Alcohol 120% which is a burning utility but has a virtual drive as well. Never had a problem mounting my SVCD images to check then before burning.
