Util to correct timestamps before DVD2AVI use?

I'm looking for a way to scan a VOB or MPG and set the timestamps to relect the actual length. Some of my edited source has the original timestamps which don't reflect the actual length.

VirtualDub-MPEG will load and display the proper length but still confuses other apps when frameserving, alsmost as if the original stammps are being fed out.

Any suggestions on how to fix this?

No, ReStream didn't do what I need. These streams use field duplication flags and some other things. The only util which properly parses the streams is DVD2AVIdg but it won't "play nice" with VFAPI nor will it write a proper AVI. Sigh...

It's never going to write AVI's. I'm removing that. VFAPI issues will be treated as bug fixes and addressed promptly. Why can't you serve through Avisynth and save your AVI through Vdub?

I far prefer to serve frames. Saving as AVI was just an option which I'd hoped would work. When those were posted, you were on sabbatical. I'm actually trying to re-encode by way of DVD2SVCD. With a VOB as input, it will allow keeping the original audio and I use my own AviSynth scripts for processing. DVDRs will ship to you today. I'm burning the second set of samples right now.
