Saving Nero Settings

I'm using Nero 5.5.10.54. I have not figured out why, but when I fire up the program to write a new DVD-Video compilation the settings sometimes change (e.g., the ISO mode, Joliet off, etc.). Thus, I always need check the settings to ensure they are set correctly, but inevitably forget on occasion. Is there a way to save all the correct settings using the save or save as commands, and then pull them up each time I'm going to write a new DVD-Video? If not, how can I make Nero DVD-Video settings stick? Thanks!

Create a new DVD-Video compilation with desired settings, and then save it without adding any files. Use it as a template for each new project. I suggest to mark the .nrd file as read-only in Windows explorer so you won't overwrite it by accident.
