Just bought a Sandisk 256MB USB pen drive. I would like to make it bootable so I can for example use it as the two Ghost diskettes or as the DOS startup diskette.
I tried copying all files from the DOS diskette into it but it didn't work. My mobo is Gigabyte 8KNXP and I selected as first boot USB zip/hdd
Do you have any ideas how does this thing work?

Do you see it as a drive in My Computer? Right-click -> format -> Create MS-Dos startup disk or if you're using older version of windows -> Copy system files I think.
This should make it bootable - simply copying files from an already bootable disk wont work.
In addition once it is bootable you can copy your .gho and ghost.exe files to it - or what ever you need on it :)

Remember though that making it bootable and being able to boot from it are very different things. Your BIOS must support it. Otherwise it will not boot no matter what you do.

I'm sure I remember reading another thread about this subject last year.
I'm think Doom9 came up with a few solutions.
