I have to create a DVD with CSS protection. I'm working with Scenarist. The replicator factory will put the key. What should I do on the scenarist layout? Can someone explain the exact process on scenarist for CSS protection ?

Here's what Scenarist manual says:
To add copy protection to a VTS:
1. In the Layout Editor, choose Settings > CSS Settings. The CMI Settings dialog opens.
2. From the VMG & VTS menu, select the VTS to which you will add copy protection.
3. If you want the VTS to be encrypted with CSS, set the CP_SEC option to Protection System.
...
6. Repeat the previous steps for additional VTSs.
7. Leave the Disc Key and Title Key fields blank. CSS keys are added later by the disc replicatorYou can apply protection separately for each VTS and VMG.

Thank you for your answer. I've just tried but should I put 2054 for sector size and "without CSS" for key ? Should I put Copyright in the CPM case ? For VMG I can't put CSS on the CP_SEC case... is it normal ?

Read the friggin' manual (p.252):
Choosing the Output Operations
...
2. If you will be using any of the copy protection schemes (APS, CGMS, CSS, Regional Codes), do the following:
• Set the Sector Size to 2054 Bytes.
• Set the Scramble Type to Partial. The Full option is not currently supported by most DVD players and is therefore not recommended.
• If using CSS and you will provide the CSS keys, set Key to With CSS. If the disc replicator will provide the keys (or if you are not using CSS), select Without CSS.Yes, set CPM to Copyrighted, and no, you can't set CP_SEC for VMG. Don't turn on APS unless you bought a license from Macrovision.
