All my keys look the same, the print used for the letters is apparently really sturdy. The only thing I can notice is the J key being the dirtiest. What does that say about my personality? :D

Oh, and on my gaming keyboard the W, A, S and D keys have the most body fat running along the side of the key, but I think you can guess why .

Reminds me of the MMPI (Minnesota Multi-Phasic Personality Inventory). I thought you were going to give us a test.

The J key is the right-hand home key on a qwerty keyboard. Maybe it just tells us you're a good typist. How dirty is your F key?

Look in Mug Funky's signature. This thread is a response to it.

It has some dirt (probably fat) on it. The spacebar has the same kind of dirtyness but along the left and right side, and it's all shiny in the middle (polished ;)) so I didn't count it as dirtiest key. I also didn't count any other punctuation/function keys as they're less frequently used (and sometimes hit at a weird angle - my right Alt has a polished edge because I hit it diagonally with my right thumb).

i recently bought a new keyboard because the old was so damn dirty =.=

on the other comp, the num block is quite dirty as i use it for quake, the only game i play ..except the 3, which is the rail gun i hate.

OMG, i should check the general forum more often :)

i only really thought of it when a Flash problem required me to have a picture of a keyboard... i took a photo and realised it wasn't good enough for use because there were some letters missing.

for some reason the dirtiest key on mine is CapsLock, which is odd because i almost NEVER USE IT.

That's not odd, the more you use a key the more friction/polishing, the less dirt. I also didn't say W A S and D were dirtiest on the surface, on the contrary, they're shiny white, it's just the grease that runs along the side of it that shows gaming usage :D.

Used to be Ctrl-Alt-Del. Then it came XP, and it was F1 for a while. Then it came AutoGK, and I never used my keyboard again. :)
