n00by DVD playback problem

Hey everyone, I don't post here much, but I'm having some problems with the DVD playback on my windows XP machine. I am using Interactual player and everything worked fine and I could view DVDs fine with it, then I installed DVD region free and now it says when I try to play a DVD that I need to reduce the color depth or my screen resolution to play it, and I did and it still doesn't work.

Did you try to deactivate/uninstall dvdregionfree? There are (even free) alternatives available - such as anydvd (40$ shareware), remoteselector (20€), dvd43 (free).

hmm, yea I uninstalled it, it still gives me the same message, so strange... it was working fine before!
