Hallo Alles, fist of all thank You for the help that every time you post by somwone problems.

Now, by sorry for my English as to be an Italian, hopefully not to kill that CAT too!! :p

I used Big tree to make BLACK HAWK DOWN movie. After 5 passes by CCE it have came absolute fantastic.
Now, when multiplexing, after Scenarist, I had to put back what DoitFast4U made untouched: so from /<folder>/VIDEO_TS --> /<folder_FINAL> etc...
Why, my problem is DoitFast4U gave me in folder a such big VIDEO_TS.VOB of 129 MB? opening it I realised it is only the preview of the Digital Surround action movie just before the film starts when we press the "start movie" button from menu. Finally, I had to keep it out from the re-builded DVD before to make .iso an rip; other ways, i would have not enought space from dvd+r support to burn it. An overfow of around 88 MB.
Is anyway there I can compress VIDEO_TS.VOB to be able to keep off 88 MB? DoitFast4U does not handle it at beginning.

Thank You in advance for Your help.

Ciao!

hi gugli and welcome to the forums!

to remove items from the VIDEO_TS.vob (or for that matter any .vob) an excellent source of 'tips and tricks' can be found in the ifo/vob editors forum, particularly here:
«-«-« 2COOL's Cheat Sheets & Guides List »-»-» (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=43142)

related to your question of removing the THX intro, see these gudes:
Disabling All Miscellaneous Between After Play button Is Pressed and Before Start of Movie Guide (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&postid=245500#post245500)
and

and
Disabling/Bypassing Unwanted Titles Guide (Version 2) (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=50245)

for reducing the size of your VTS_0*_0.vob(s) i recommend the use of NuMenu4U - an excellent program that uses CCE to re-encode your menus at a lower bitrate.

as for why you ended up with a excessive file size, i have no idea, sorry. DIF4U has ALWAYS sized my projects correctly UNLESS i have manually interfered with the process and/or i used the bitrates calculated by ReAuthorist.

hope that helps

See steps 18 to 24.

Well,
I do not know what to say as per THANK YOU for Your tempestivness help!.
Finally, following the guide for Numenu I skipped the situation by reducing massively the VIDEO_TS.VOB by CCE without lose so mutch quality.
Result: I came into final dvd by a 8 MB to limit and thears are dropping from eyes.... Yeppy!! :p
Firstly, I took look at the guide related to Numenu4U and as first time wasn't so easy for me. Now things are quite clear. Only one thing I wonder, why DoitFast4U didn't match with the total side of DVD......BOOO!....MHAA!!!!
Also, consider the second answer from 2COOL, it could be also a good solution but with Rejig before to post my question, I tried . When I saw the *.m2v extention after the encode, then, I would have known a program like VobEdit.. :o HAAI HAAI HAAI!!!

Anyway, Thank You both indeed.

Keep in touch.
