ltimate backup!

Hello all,

I have recent success with the big 3 method and have loved teh results, but im now at a hurdle, im trying to back up my T2 Ultimate edition DVD, this has the theatrical and the SE version on, through seamless branching ( i think !), it reads this as one movie file , is there a way to rip just the SE?

hi shorn,
yes you can by performing a pgc demux on the SE pgc, and deselecting the 'theatrical' pgc.
but....
you wont be saving any space on your back-up by doing this as the video for the theatrical is re-used from the SE version. if you demux by vobid you can re-author both versions :D
there is even a guide for doing so:
Seamless Branching with Scenarist by OxP (http://www.doom9.org/index.html?/mpg/Seamless_Branching.htm) although a lot of the manual steps shown can now be performed by the latest version of DIF4U / DVD Decrypter / Scenaid.
