I am using Img Tool Classic 0.91 + DVDDecrypter 3.1.8.0 for DVD burning. I am very satisfied with this combination, regarding both the quality and the reliability. From time to time I am backuping data on DVD-R using Nero 6.0.
When I installed Img Tool Classic 0.91 I noticed that something is wrong with DVD drive recognition after creating an image. I used to restart or even shut down the PC and after that I could use DVD writer again for something else – to play the DVD or whatever.
Yesterday I tried to do data backup using Nero but although Nero recognized DVD writer and started to write, after very short time Nero failed with message “Internal Target Failure”. I tried few DVD-R brands, made image file with both Nero and Img Tool Classic 0.91 – always the same. I noticed that after restarting Widows Explorer shows DVD writer as “DVD Drive (E:)” but when I put blank DVD-R drive label is changed to “CD Dive (E:).
BTW the same day I burned successfully few DVD-Rs using Img Tool Classic 0.91 + DVDDecrypter 3.1.8.0, so I can conclude that DVD writer is OK.
I was thinking to reinstall both Nero 6 and Img Tool Classic 0.91 but I am afraid that it would be in vain; I can expect the same behavior.
Well, I hope that somebody is willing to give me advice what to do. I’d like to have both Nero 6 and Img Tool Classic.
Thanks in advance.
