Newbie Help!!!!!

Can anyone please help with my problem

I have 'obtained' the following file:

***.Return.*!.The."&%£.INTERNAL.AC3.TC.XviD-DiAMOND

I have deleted the name for obvious purposes

This file comes in 3 files and not one of these files will play with media player and when i open these files with tmpge and that displays the same error message and shut's down??????

When i ftp these files up to my xbox they all play perfectly and the film is of a great quality

Can anybody suggest why this will play on my xbox but will have none of it with my pc.

Just to let you know that my pc is p4 2.8 processor 512 ddr ram 60gb

GSpot says that i have 2 compatible codecs on my pc for the video and plenty for the audio.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
