i think doom9 is a great resource, but at the same time it's overwhelming, the amount of information.
my problem: have been using autoshrinkiso, had no problems burning my first couple of projects. namely the band of brothers boxed set, we were soldiers, and some inuyasha dvds. lately though, i can break a disc into the individual files, but when it come times to burn, always get an error. this is using autoshrink with dvdecryptor burning with roxio 6. also have the same trouble if i use just dvdshrink and nero. here is the latest error message, using autoshrink and roxio:
*dvdecrypter
I/O error!
device:[1:1:0]dvdrw ide1004 0037 (e:)
scsistatus: 0x02
interpretation: check condidtion
CDB: 2A 00 00 00 01 F0 00 00 10 00
interpretation: write(10) -sectors: 496-511
sense area: 70 00 05 00 00 00 00 0A 00 00 00 00 21 00 00 00 00 00
interpretation: logical block address out of range*
this was trying to burn cowboy bebop the movie.
had have the same results with ocean's eleven.
is this a software problem, or something tricky the dvds are doing?
i tried looking around on doom9, but again, its overwhelming and a lot of the techno-speak goes over my head.
thanks for any ideas or help
