hi. i have a toshiba laptop and my sister spilt water on it.
switched it off immediately so the laptop was fine, but after drying everything with a hair drier, the keyboard doesn't function properly.
it works, but the ` key is pressed repeatedly, so the only way to type is holding the delete button.
i've tried taking that key off and cleaning underneath it but toshiba made it so that the rubber underneath the keys is sealed and i can't clean further inside.
i've read loads of guides about cleaning proper keyboards by soaking them in warm water and then letting htem dry, but none for laptops.
can the same thing be done with laptop keyboards? i've managed to take it off already and have tried compressed air (which is V expensive), but same thing happens.
do i need to buy a new keyboard?
