Okay where should I begin...

I've already posted on the Winamp forums about this but I think it's wise to post it here as well. Here's the situation:

I've managed to get both OGM and MKV to work under WMP 9 and Winamp 5 (Video). Let's skip most other problems I had since I now solved them (duh), like the Stream Switching with MKV in WMP 9.. I fixed that with Morgan Stream Switcher. Before I continue I want to make clear that I do NOT want to use any other Media Player on this time (so don't bug me with 'go use MPC or BS Player').

The only problem which I have now is the fact that Winamp 5 does NOT recognize Audio stream switching when MKV files are being played back, so it simply plays back both Audio streams (AAC) at the same time.

I've been really into this stuff since I first discovered MKV, and since I got OGM working perfectly under Winamp 5, I'm determined to get MKV working 100% as well.

Thanks for reading.

Well you can keep wanting all you want, but there's nothing anyone here can do for you.

W/O winamp 5 generating a dshow graph for playback the morgan stream switcher is useless to you, and the ability to switch channels is a feature of the player alone.

So unless the winamp 5 devs say they're gonna support mkv, stream switching, and everything else that goes w/ it, you might as well just go use zoom or tcmp :P

gizmo.
