Hi there,
IŽve tried to make a dvd-r from a 3h12m xvid but scenarist cant create the Imagefile because the dvdfile is to big !
Tried using very low bitrate (min.1000 max.5000) and 4 multipasses
But the result was exactly the same (after 7 hours of encoding)
Are there a max movielength for a dvd-r in dvd2svcd/scenarist ?
Are there any parameters that can be changes so It can fit on one disk ?

The source-file is not the best quality so I would rather not have to use more than one dvd-r on it.

Hi. Welcome to the forum.
Not really enough info there to tell what's going wrong.
Read this (http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?s=&threadid=19566)

Then :logfile:

Thanks ,Nick, for the welcome.

Used YouŽre link and I can see I didnŽt exactly post as I should. Sorry aŽbout that IŽll try to do better next time.
Anyway, I still donŽt know what caused the problem but I found a way out; I used Nero Recode and the Video_ts folder created by Scenarist and it worked perfectly (Recode compressed the dvd 1,5 %)
