Hello! I am long time looker for forums first time poster hehe!
Lately I have been having problems with newer versions of DVDShrink burning with Memorex Media and My DVD player playing them skip free! I own a Toshiba Progressive Scan SD-3950. I am for sure it is probably the media since all of my Fuji DVD+R are working properly. I have also been having a problem getting Open Range to backup. It keeps giving me a copy protection I/O error. I can rip it with DVD Decrypter. But when I try to open the files with DVD Shrink I get a video TS error but yet the Video TS file is present. Anyone else have any of the problems I have listed above. I know it can be trial and error but DVD+R are still not at the price that I want to be burning coasters

How do you know that your VIDEO_TS is exactly your problem. Though the file is present, you cannot be certain that is valid and working. Use 3.0 beta 5 and open each IFO separately to find out which titleset is giving you problems. This is what I do to weed out the problematic Titlesets.

Newest Version! I Got Open Range working and it does not skip maybe I was using an old version of DVD Shrink cause the new one beta 3 seems to work. I had to use DVD Decrypter before I used it to rip the dvd to hardrive for some reason it was giving Copy Protection I/O error about half way thru open range. Never had anything like tha that happen. This burn didn't skip so it looks like I am fixed for now lets cross our fingers :)
