The only disc I have seen to date are called optodisc. They are full face printable disc. Unfortunatly they are 1X only.
I have tried them and my results with the disc were not good with both my plextor and pioneer a06.
But I am sure there will be more in the weeks to come.

BeAll 4x printable media from Meritline.com is what I use for full-face printing. It has a nice print area, right up to the center. The only downside I've ever had with them is if you saturate the label (too much ink), it may wrinkle. I've solved that by sealing the ink with a spray-on acrylic (Krylon or other). Works great, doesn't harm the disc.
The media has been very reliable, and using the Kprobe utility, I've verified it's a decent media.
