Hi all,
I've put several Xvid files to DVD now but some of them seem to be a bit jerky when the camera pans from side to side.
You only really notice it if some one is walking from one side of the screen to the other and the camera follows them.

Im using TMPG Enc to encode to
DVD NTSC (MPEG-2 720x480 29.97fps CBR 4000kbps, Layer-2 48000Hz 384kbps)
Is this some thing to do with it ??

Thanks for your advice in advance.

Paul

I've read your post a couple of times now, and although I am a "newbie", I just don't understand the question. You are asking about TMPG encoding MPEG 2 in an XVID/MPEG4 forum? Or are you converting from one to another? It sounds like a field order issue to me....probably changing the field order in TMPG would do the trick.

Yes, this post should be in the tmpg forum.

Possibly you are changing the framerate of your video from what it originally was.

No. His problem is he is not reading the FAQ or not even trying the search function.

He uses an outdated ffdshow version most likely.
