I use this brilliant program. However, to rip to HDD, I normally use DVD Decrypter. I found out that DVD Shrink can do this as well. But could not see if DVD Shrink will remove CSS. Does it ? Is it something that is set by default or is it something I have to set in preferences ? And where in prefs ?

This is a wrong place to ask that sort of question. There is a section dedicated to one-click backup tools like DVDShrink.

Always keep in mind THE great 3: :)

DVDShrink will decrypt the DVD, though it isn't quite as robust as DVDDecrypter - there have been reports of DVDs that Shrink fails on, but that work fine once run through DVDDecrypter.

There is no option for decrypting in DVDShrink - it's always on. If the disk is encrypted, Shrink will attempt to decrypt it.

Thanks M8. Help is much appreciated. To Stargazer, I'll put it in the right place next time ... but a little bit of help rather than citicism will go a long way. Thanks anyway ... no hard feelings

No hard feelings! :)
My post was more a critique than a criticism, with guidelines how to find the right answer. That's also a help, isn't it? :D :D
