Sequence = (1920x1080p,25 fps,350 frames,80 mbit) Sony HD Cam
XviD Standard SP (Adaptive Quantization)

System P4 Williamette 1.8 Ghz

Renderer = Windows Xp Directx9b VMR9 Renderless
GFX = Geforce 3 Ti200
Forceware = 56.56
Resolution = 1024x768 32bit


ffdshow Athos 022704 = 9 fps
XviD Decoder RC3 = 8 fps
Ateme Mpeg4 Decoder = 6 fps /forces Video Renderer
3ivx Mpeg4 Decoder = 5 fps
DivX 5.1.1 Decoder = 4 fps

XviD Standard ASP (Qpel,Adaptive Quantization)

ffdshow Athos 022704 = 8 fps
XviD Decoder RC3 = 6 fps
Ateme Mpeg4 Decoder = 5 fps /forces Video Renderer
3ivx Mpeg4 Decoder = 4 fps
DivX 5.1.1 Decoder = 4 fps

All decoders where used with PP off

I always tought that DivX decoder was the most optimized :confused:

Did you try with the "Force Overlay" checkbox checked in the 3ivx Decoder config?

Might be faster that way

That's right. For me VMR9 is a lot slower than overlay mixer.

Stux i tried all possible combinations but force overlay should force the Video Renderer shouldn't it ? in XviD when YV12 is forced it does but not with 3ivX it stays with the VMR9 renderless renderer that was set in MPC hmm about Overlay Mixer thats not the case here Overlay Mixer is slightly behind (1fps) VMR9 (windowed mode).
But for the Upsampleing Problem i dont advise to use it it's better to use VMR9 Renderless instead, because their everything is as it should be (no color bleeding) and subtitles (MKV) also work :). Those configs only Mirror Nvidia and their drivers not any other Manufacturer.

Could you post the same stats with the same clip, but then without Qpel?
Could be interesting...

Also, what is the fps supposed to be...can't find you saying that.

ahh yes Crusty sorry the Sequence is 25 fps will add it and also a non Qpel test later :)
ok corrected some mistakes and added the Qpel test
