I am using DVD shrink 316 and cannot get Autoshrink ISO to start after the encoding process completes...I was under the understanding that it should start automatically...is there something I am missing? I directed my paths and have the install-ocx installed. I was using ImgTools but want it all more automated...

You have to start AutohrinkIso first. Then hit start in auto shrink ISO once the dvd is in the drive. That will start DVDShrink set you your compressions etc... Hit backup.

Few more questions:
Will this work if I put my DVD movie in my DVD rom and my DVD-R in my DVD Burner without problems?
I imagine it will, you all seem to right on top of things!

Also, when you say: Warning: don't change the Target Folder in DVDShrink as it'll be automatically set based on the volume label. Also don't click shutdown in DVDShrink. AUDIO_TS folder is automatically created by DVD Shrink.
Are you refering to the folder I direct DVD Shrink to save the VIDEO_TS & AUDIO_TS in? Or should I leave the DVD Shrink default setting for destination folder at default?
I guess what I am trying to say is can I direct DVD Shrink to my own destination folder at all?

once you master autoshrinkiso ....try dvdshrink 3.1.7 beta 5 http://www.dvdshrink.org it has it built-in (autoshrinkiso functionality that is).

AutoShrinkISO will still be useful for those with FAT32 (win98) partitions and those who wish to keep DVD-ROM data. NYPlayer filled a huge void by writing AutoShrinkISO and I deeply thank him for that. Also NYPlayer has it auto shutdown with dvddecrypter which wasn't possible until the new version which was just released a couple days ago. If I gave NYPlayer a nickel for each time I used his program he'd be a very wealthy man.

Thanks to you both for what you provide...wish I was capable of producing such masterpieces...Top of the line programs, now that I figured it all out & am using DVD Shrink, AutoShrinkISO or ImgTools, & DVD Decrypter things are smooth and accurate...haven't made a bad one yet. I thought DVD2Svcd was great (It still is by the way Doom9), but this suits my purpose...not sure why others have so many issues

Everything seems to operate great with my system...hats off to all 4 of you and your generosity!!!:D
