I have DivX file that is acting very weird in my Gemini 332 DVD player. Sometimes, there is no sound, others there is only sound, and no pictures. Its a very "rare" movie, and I really need to see it on my TV.

Well, anyway, I was thinking I should reencode it, that way it should work. But which codec should I use, DivX? And what type of sound? MP3? But what bitrate? And do I use Vdub to do this?

If your DVD player supports DivX (i.e. its DivX Certified) then try updating its firmware (see the manufacturers support area). Simply passing the video through the latest version of Dr DivX should re-encode it for DivX Certified devices.

If your DVD player does not support DivX then you will need some DVD/MPEG2 encoding software.
