I do both things you mention all the time and never had any trouble using Tylo's DVDDecrypter plugin.

I mount my .iso all the time with daemon tools and use dvd2dvd. Way back when it refused to read it but dvd2svcd kindly added it with a staunch warning. However, having said that if you do experience a bug then do try ripping with the internal routines prior to reporting a bug.

plus i dont know how that would help me in my question..Well, you posted this question in this forum. Was I supposed to think you meant "im not trying to rip with dvd2svcd"?

To me it's obvious that you are trying to use DVD2SVCD. Otherwise, you have redefined the term "pointless question".

Anyway, my answer still holds. You can use the same ripped VOBs with AutoGK, for instance, provided you use IFO mode to generate them. If you use ISO mode, you have to re rip the ISO, but you do this from disk. In DVD2SVCD you can do this with Tylo's plugin.

lol

when i get a new dvd i do 2 somtimes 3 rips with it in more then one format... so no dont want to rip with dvd2svcd.. i dont see why id need an iso if i just wanted to use dvd2svcd.. makes no sence

was just wondering since i make the iso anyway.. i do movie only enc's with dvd2svcd once and a while so it would be nice to not have to rip twice

but thanks for the Tylo's DVDDecrypter plugin tip.. looks interesting.. ill have to play around with it

Oh, if I just wanted to give you the "almighty use search of the day", I'd have posted :search: instead of doing the search for you.

Never heard of so contradictory guys. :D:D:D

Edit: and trust me i know how to search.. i have been here 2 years and i havnt asked many questions .. granted some of the ones i have asked where really bad.. lol i mostly come here to read

Question

I do both things you mention [b]all the time and never had any trouble using Tylo's DVDDecrypter plugin.
In short: it does not cause any problems.

Do you really think that is not a real answer to your question?

Never mind, good luck with the plugin.

Then again, do you need the plugin? Only if you don't want to have any trouble. :D:D:D
