Sorry about my English....

Hi,
I am not a dvd ripper, I am a video editor.
It means that I edit my video from my dv camcorder & save them on the hard disk as dv format (avi), with PAL system.
Until now I used nandub for 2-pass divx encoding, but I think that today xvid leading, so I tried yasterday Gordian Knot.

First of all, like nandub, I noticed that it can not read avi's in dv format. It is not a big problem 'cause I am using frame server for premiere in this case.

The real problem is when I want to start encode it shows me an error about yuy2 format, I think it happens because the pure dv is RGB format. So how can I encode RGB?

Can you help me to solve these 2 problems?

Thanks,
Mark [MaG!n]

You're first problem, not being able to open the file, you have already partially solved, through the use of Premiere.

Your second problem, colorspace, can easily be fixed. Use the "Edit" key and add the following command right after the AviSource(...) line in the .avs file:ConvertToYUY2()For more info on DV processing, see our DV Forum (http://forum.doom9.org/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=59).
