please need help in video section

hello all, I need your help

when I go in the properties of my movie with Windows I made with gordian knot I see several sections

my question is what is the video size property? (I think it s the RGB color property) how do you change from 12 to 24 bit? I notice most of the XVID videos have 24 bit in colors but my xvid movies only have 12 :confused:

when I encode with DIVX I have 24 bit, so how can you make sure with xvid you get 24bit

Ignore it. This is a well documented discrepancy. DVDs are in the YV12 colorspace, and you'll need your monitor set to 24-bit or 32-bit color to view them. For much much more information, merely search using "12-bit" as your keyword.
