RadLight 4 pre-beta 1 (build #5)

RadLight is a "fourth generation" multimedia player which enables you to playback DivX, XviD and other multimedia content.

This is the first public release after more than 4 months.

You might be quite surprised that RadLight is now able to play your audio files and that support for audio is currently maybe little bit better than for video (featurewise -_- )

Just out of personal interest, what were the first 3 generations?

RadLight 1,2 and 3 (and 3.03). Each version was groundbreaking and highly advanced at the time of its release. With v4 we are pushing the limits further once again (see the kernel architecture) ;)

Ah, the wording is misleading... you should write it as "4th generation radlight player" or something, cause media player doesn't really imply that it's referring to radlight.

Well, each RadLight version created new challenge and thus new generation of players ... ;)

That's the thing, it's a new generation of "player", not "players", hence the confusion...

Mm, I believe it's first of the new generation of playerS :P

(Anyway, it's just a marketing blabla but in this case there is something of truth at it ;) )
