Right so far so good with backing up my dvd's (with ur help) my next problem when i play my backup dvd on my dvd player on the screen appears files which i then have to press play on - is there a way that i can prevent this from happening and just get it to request me to play the movie like it does on the original? i currently use dvd decrypter, dvd21 then nero to burn it - i do decrypt in file mode if thats any help

Be sure to use DVD-Video mode in Nero, not DVD-ROM.

You've ripped it and compressed it ok. Ure problem is with what ure selecting in Nero as 'dimmer' has just said...Suggest you select 'nero express' and choose to create 'DVD Video Files'...all you then do is add the file from your hard drive and let nero do the rest. The movie should then be the exact duplicate of the original..extras n'all.
