Hi folks,

I have an iso file with I can burn onto a bootable CD. Can anyone suggest how to add some extra files and folders just to store on that CD and keep the original boot functionality? Using Nero I was able to create a bootable CD but after boot it gave me "A prompt" and original disc started an execution of a test program right away.

I have a feeling that somehow I need to extract "bootable" part from my original CD and tell Nero to use it as a template for the new one.

But it is possible the fastest way to use some kind of CD (not DVD) ISO editor and add some extra folders to the image.

Thank you for any clues.

Easiest way is to burn bootable part without closing CD and then add track(s) with desired files.
Or you can extract bootable track with Isobuster...

Thanks, guys:

I was able to do what I needed using Nero and suggestion from ppera2. But isobuster… I tried several times, extracted bootable track … but how to burn it onto the different CD? Nero is looking for .IMA file or I don’t get something here. The isobuster’s help is not helping me. When I extracting bootable track, what extract mode to use? Please anyone explain a little bet more (I hate to loose to a piece of software)

Thanks
