VOBS copy to DVD, Is that OK?

Hey,

After I wanted to archieve some DVD's I became a bit dissapointed in the quality and file size of a good DivX.
So, is it okay if I desencrypt the Vobs using GK, so I will be left with some VOBS on my hard drive. Can I at a later date just copy them to any DVD, and pop them into a DVD player?

Yes, provided you also keep all IFO and BUP files in VIDEO_TS folder. Of course, the total file size should not exceed DVD-R capacity.
